Lindsey George, O.D.

Originally from Violet Hill, AR, Dr. Lindsey George graduated as Valedictorian from Melbourne High School in 2013. Dr. George then attended Arkansas State University, where she graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Chemistry, receiving Magna Cum Laude honors. Dr. George then obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2021. Dr. George graduated Cum Laude and received awards for clinical excellence.
During her time in optometry school, Dr. George was involved with the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists. As a part of the organization, she completed mission trips to Costa Rica and Jamaica, providing free eye care to those in need.
Dr. George enjoys spending time with her husband David, daughter Amelia, and their two dogs. 

About Dr. Ellis

Dr. Jerry H. Ellis is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. He is originally from Ridge Farm, Illinois, graduated valedictorian of his high school class in 1983. Dr. Ellis pursued his undergraduate degree at Abilene Christian University, then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1990 from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. Dr. Ellis finished in the top 10 of his graduating class and received awards for excellence in pathology and contact lenses. 
Upon completion of his education, Dr. Ellis joined the Air Force and was stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base near Jacksonville, Arkansas during the first Gulf War. In 1993, he relocated to Cherokee Village Arkansas. 
Dr. Ellis and his wife, Brenda, have owned and operated Progressive Eye Center, in Cherokee Village, since 1993. They have two children, Nathan and Kayla, two grandchildren, and are active members of Ward Street Church of Christ.
In 2003, Dr. Ellis and Dr. Surinder Sra teamed up to build a medical building for their two practices. In 2007, they expanded the facility to house the WRMC North Complex, which helps to provide the local community with additional medical services.
 Dr. Ellis is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Arkansas Optometric Association, and past president of the Cherokee Village Lions Club. 

Wesley Dunnam, O.D., MBA

Wesley Dunnam, O.D., M.B.A., a native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, started his career in optometry at Arkansas State University, where he earned a B.S. in biology in 2012. He proceeded to graduate from Memphis’ Southern College of Optometry in 2016. There, Dr. Dunnam was actively involved with several organizations, including the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, which gave him the opportunity to serve on different mission trips to provide eye care to underserved areas. In 2017, Dr. Dunnam expanded his education by earning an MBA at Christian Brothers University with a focus on healthcare administration.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dunnam and his wife are actively involved with the music ministry at church. They enjoy outdoor activities as a family, and it wouldn’t be unusual to see the Dunnam’s at a local bluegrass festival, playing with their kids at the park, or at an Arkansas State ball game cheering for the Red Wolves. Dr. Dunnam is thankful for the opportunity to serve the vision needs of his community at Paragould Family Vision.
